We love to dress up and involve the audience and have several themed sections in our regular shows, including an ABBA themed section and an unforgettable Queen finale. We are also very happy to tailor our set lists and stage costumes to suit the theme of your event.

The Band
We are a versatile 4-piece or 5-piece band, comprising one or two female lead vocalists, 1 x bassist/backing vocals, 1 x drummer/backing vocals and 1 x guitarist. Our principal singers are Julie & Carla, who can both be seen singing in the many live videos on this website. The band is managed by our guitarist, David.

We perform many of these songs with our own high energy arrangements and have great stage presence, making us ideal for a seated audience as well.

Artists covered include everyone's favourite rock, pop, indie & soul/funk artists of the past 60 years including Queen, Bon Jovi, ABBA, Oasis, Brian Adams, Bruce Springsteen, Nirvana, Tina Turner, Guns N' Roses, Taylor Swift, Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars, Cher, Bonnie Tyler, Dian Ross, Miley Cyrus and many more. To enhance the live band experience, we do not use any backing tracks or pre-recorded material in any of our shows. With Twist of Rock, live means 100% live.

What is included?
Our standard pricing includes everything you need for a great event, including over 2 hours of live music, a complimentary DJ playlist service when not performing, a powerful p.a. for up to 1000 people indoors or 600 people outdoors, and a dynamic computer controlled stage lighting system with haze/smoke machines for a great party atmosphere. We have good communication and a professional proactive approach to planning and co-ordinating events. Our standard service includes on-line meetings to go through all the details of the event with the organiser.

Here is our standard stage set-up. Everything you see here is included as standard apart from the stage, which in this case is approximately 5m wide x 4m deep.

What if the venue has a noise limit?
Many venues have a noise limit for the benefit of the local community and other residents and this will usually prevent the use of an acoustic drum kit. But don't worry, we have this covered. Our standard pricing includes for the use of a top of the range electronic drum kit and a 'silent stage' system so we are able to play at any volume required by the venue. This set up gives a great live sound at any volume and is actually a good option for large venues as well. All of the live videos on this website were recorded using this silent stage set up.

Where does the band perform?
We are based in North London and perform throughout the UK. Great repertoire and we had many compliments about the music / band being really good. A different lady sang for our party (from the one we saw in one of their videos), and she was equally brilliant… obviously the band have a couple of singers they use all the time, so whichever singer you have, you can be guaranteed a fabulous sound. We could not have been happier. A very good experience dealing with David prior to the party. I always received a prompt response to any of my questions. An added bonus was that his wife put our choices of music (for when the band had a break) on a USB stick and played it through there PA. They also sent to us a video of them playing our “special” choice of music…. A lovely touch. Highly recommended.

What an amazing band to have found.From the initial call with David, right through to the last song, what an amazing professional band.David and the team, met my brief perfectly. In fact, they went above and beyond for us. We had a Hawaiian theme and they decorated their speakers in grass skirts and flowers around the staging. All band members embraced the Hawaiian theme with loud shirts and bright colours.It was the little touches, like they sent my husband a birthday card and arrived before my first guests arrived, even though that meant being there a couple of hours before. It was the small touches, that made us so grateful and made an 50th Birthday celebration perfect. They were also able to meet my brief of 3 sets at 45 minutes each. Some of the other bands we spoke to, were very inflexible.Music was all in tune and the lead singer was amazing, fantastic vocal range. We love the song choices, but the last set just hit the mark to end a perfect evening. At one point the singer joined the guests on the dance floor, and we literally thought we were at some A lister rock concert. Amazing!No problems with the sound, and their equipment worked flawlessly throughout.All our guests commented on what a fantastic job they had done for us.Unlike other bands, what was nice, is that they had 1 price, that included everything, music, interval music, lights, travel. Nothing was too much trouble and David’s wife (so sorry I cannot remember your name) was able to support during the intervals and was out front, to help with turning the interval music up and down.Would definitely book again as loved every minute of their performances and professionalism.Keep rocking out and thank you once again.
